We will start with meeting with you and key staff members to discuss your needs.
These meetings will typically last a few hours and we will discuss what your needs are, identify limitations of your current system and how we can best implement Microsoft's Small Business Server to meet your needs.
Once we have feedback on your needs and wants we will then prepare a cost estimate for the project including the equipment, software that will be required to meet your projects needs.
Installation is typically done in two phases, the first portion will involve a site-audit for us to review the current state of your network and identify any potential issues before the project is started. This allows us to catch 99% of the issues before they arise and we ensure that the deployment goes as smooth as possible.
If there are any significant issues we can work to a solution before the project moves forward.
Once the server has completed its pre-configuration in our labs we will then begin the migration on-site, this process typically lasts one or two days and often has minimal impact on your staff.
All of the above is typical for most migrations, now here is where we differ from the other companies:
Once we’ve completed the site-audit, the price is now fixed and not on a per-hour basis.
Our feedback from clients has been this is where they often get stuck with much higher bills than they expected, either because a site-audit was not performed or because the technicians may have overlooked some key systems. We stand behind our work and offer a fixed price for the contract ensuring you’re costs will not escalate out of control.
Once the deployment is complete we give you one week email, remote and telephone support included as part of the contract.
This is another area we’ve identified where unexpected costs occur. We realize that things can be overlooked or problems only occur days later after your users started working with the new system. Including post-installation support keeps your costs down and makes the transition far easier on your staff.
